This was the motor originally with stock intake manifold..

I removed the stock intake manifold and got one from a D16Y8 Motor to put on my car...

The stock intake was not designed for good flow with a turbo in mind..

The D16Y8 intake is a standard log style manifold that will flow air better to all cylinders.. I took the Throttle Body off my D16Y7 Intake and switched it over to the Y8 mani.. This will work for now with the current ecu, but I will have to change to a 2 wire IACV from my 3 Wire IACV for my new P06 Ecu from a 95 Del Sol to work correctly on this car.. At that time I will block off the old IACV intake section with plastic fill, so I won't have a really large vacuum leak..

This is my current exhaust manifold.. I will be replacing it soon with a log style to handle my turbo and keep my a/c..

All the work to change over the intake manifold was able to be done from above the car..

Once it was in I had to remove the cold air intake and slightly cut it to fit the new angle..

Went in without too many problems.. And the car runs better already with it on...
